Butterfly Pupa Butterfly Caterpillars Butterfly Eggs for spring gardens!
White Peacock Caterpillars
The White Peacock (Anartia jatrophae) is a species of butterfly found in the southeastern United States, Central America, and throughout much of South America. The White Peacock caterpillar is a wonder to watch and learn about the metamorphosis process. Watch these White Peacock caterpillars grow from a tiny worm-like caterpillar to a small green chrysalis. Then emerge into a large beautiful butterfly with lace patterns on the wings.
These White Peacocks larvae are very colorful and voracious feeders. Please remember to have Water Hyssop for these caterpillars when they arrive. You may purchase your milkweed from us or from a local dealer. Caterpillars usually take from one to three weeks to reach pupation size depending on species, temperature and amount of food available.
